The end is near folks, 2011 is almost over and first of all we’d like to thank all our artists, partners and of course friends and fans that keep supporting us and helped to make 2011 a really successfull year. We hope that you stay with us in 2012 for much more leet shit to come! We have planned a lot and will focus to expand our empire to take over clubs around the globe and bring pure dancefloor elitism to the raving underground.

Our next vinyl is almost ready to be mastered and pressed, we just have to wait for a remix, before we can continue. Until that’s all sorted out, we’ll have some nice digital gems ready to hit the stores. The next few EPs are save and you can expect some leet tracks as usually!

Aside from that 0x7f is working on an APP for android devices that will enable you to stream our latest DJ – and Liveset’s directly from your mobile or tablet device! It will also display current news about our label and probably more features will be included. It is still in alpha stage, but once it is in beta we’ll make it available for download here, so anyone interested to help us beta test is welcome. Sofar there is no iOS support planned, but we will also make sure to satisfy the apple fanboys eventually… You see there is a lot planned and we have much more ideas that we’d like to make happen.

Another thing that is making rounds is our latest vinyl LEET 003 by Cabanne which has received great feedback around the world. We are really happy and excited to finally have this gem out. Naturally we don’t rest and already planned the next vinyl release for the end of this year. Who is it this time? A little peak into of our vinyl schedule shows that LEET 004 will feature Japan’s one and only minimal techno princess Akiko Kiyama, but more details will be kept under wraps for now, so keep your eyes and ears open for news.

Of course our digital releases aren’t on hold either and the next EP by Pheek is already being finalized and prepared for release. We hope to put it out the next few weeks if everything goes as planned. After that we present a new EP by 0x7f with remixes from a few special artist’s that we’ll reveal later. Japanese, Tokyo born Akiko Kiyama has been a prominent figure on the minimal techno scene since her first released productions in 2004. The first female minimal tech producer to have come out of Japan now lives and works from Berlin, Germany. Akiko grew up with an education dominated by music, a classically trained pianist and guitar player by the age of twelve, she went on to explore and teach herself how to fuse her classic skills with sounds created by electronic equipment. Over the years that followed Akiko fell deeper into dance music, eager to evolve and create electronically manipulated sounds and atmospheres, she began producing in 2002.

He now has a solid 10 year experience as a DJ and live musician, touring around the world’s most reknown clubs and occasionally participating in improvised jams with Ark, Thomas Brinkmann, Daniel Bell, Audio Werner and most notoriously the Narod Niki live project initiated by Ricardo Villalobos. Cabanne also likes to engage in group activities, most noticeably with Ark as Copacabannark, with David Gluck as Ultrakurt or with John Thomas for his Blackstage project.

It’s summer in Germany and naturally by day time it’s hard to work, but as children of the night we work perfectly fine after midnight. Of course we still find time to work on new releases and we’re especially happy to finally put out our 3rd vinyl record by Cabanne. It’s a pleasure for us to work with him and we feel he’s a perfect addition to the 31337 family! The record is currently being manufactured at Randmuzik and we should hold the first test pressings up into the air around next week. We are still hunting for the perfect cover art though. Aside from that a third of the label management, namely Sebastian Koch, is currently touring the United States and Canada. We should have announced his tour earlier and some dates have already passed (sorry about that!), but here are the remaining events:

The event ‘Melodiami‘ stands for a musical collective with the approach to present a conclusive concept on and next to the dancefloor. Therefor it took not only to spot the right location, which was definitely found at the Levee (the Ex Bang Bang Club) here in Berlin, but also to support artists and well known producers.

That’s why it’s a pleasure for us to present to you the American producer Someone Else. As his love for minimal techno solidified by 1998, Sean teamed up with Jay Haze and Bjoern Hartmann, and together they launched the ‘Tuning Spork’ label. While making dance music with field recordings became more and more his shtick, Sean grew close to Kate Iwanowicz (a.k.a. Miskate) and Sylvain Takerkart (a.k.a. Fusiphorm), and together they launched the ‘Foundsound’ and ‘Unfoundsound’ record labels. To this day, both labels continue to gain increasingly more recognition while offering a unique facet to the modern-day minimal scene.

Over recent years, Sean’s production skills have been garnering respect among internationally renowned DJs and labels alike, as reflected by his massive discography of releases and remixes for labels like ‘Musik Krause’, ‘Tuning Spork’, ‘Foundsound’, ‘Mo’s Ferry’, ‘Microcosm’, ‘Nummer’, ‘Kickboxer’, ‘Sender’, ‘Alphahouse’, ‘Roman-Photo’, ‘Level Non-Zero’, ‘Mule Musiq’, ‘Hello? Repeat’, ‘Revolver’, ’31337records’ and many others. This was accompanied by extensive world touring, and he was voted as one of the best live acts of 2006 in Groove Magazine. Sean continues to spin and play live all around North America, South America, Europe, Japan, Russia and elsewhere — including Fabric in London, Yellow in Tokyo, Rex Club in Paris and Panorama Bar in Berlin.

Another great artist we invited is Sven Laux, who’s career started in 1998 by creating music using simple computer programs and his first keyboard. In 1999-2000, electronic music became his style of choice and since his passion for sampling and looping tracks constantly grew he began to create his own special sound.

He has released and remixed on several labels like ‘Archipel’, ‘SpontanMusik’, ‘Multi Vitamins’, ‘Tropic’, ‘Mischievous Musique’ and ‘Leporelo’ just to mention a few. His current album on ‘Microcosm Music’ gained huge international respect and another album is going to follow soon on 31337records. In 2008 he started a new project, called ‘Offtopic’. Under this moniker he presents a very special non-dancefloor oriented sound, created by nothing more but pure improvisation.

Additional musical excesses are being provided by Jama from the Bar 25 family, Marc Pick and Coco who are an inherent part of the Berlin Dance culture with their ‘Betriebsfeier’, and many more.

Jean-Guillaume Cabanne owns a solid education as a Jazz musician and used to hold the guitar in various Paris underground funk bands. Cabanne really got over to electronic music with two EP’s for Logistic Records in 1997 in collaboration with John Thomas. He had discovered electronic music in the beginning of the 90′s and was already active in the house and techno scene in Paris, helping to promote events and occasionally working the lights at the famous Rex Club. In 2000, he is given the opportunity by the Logistic team to set up his own sub-label Telegraph, exclusively dedicated to the music he stands for. In the meantime, he also releases on a few other groundbreaking

Winter is still at its best in Germany so we’ve been busy hiding in warm places, planning the next digital and vinyl releases instead of peeing our names into the snow. Our album by DoubtingThomas has been delayed till around March and the Sven Laux album will probably be out around April. We had to shift them a bit, but of course meanwhile there will be more releases coming such as a great EP by Kai and another one by myself 0x7f. If everything goes as planned, you can expect the next releases to hit the stores in February!

Other random data this week: our facebook profile reached 666 friends a few days ago, so at this point we’d like to say thanks satan, we love you too! So anyways, if you have been following our radio shows, you might have heard the last mix by Sebastian Koch & Subjunk. Many people enjoyed it, so we made it available for download via soundcloud. It’s been a while since we put out some news, so here we go. As you may have noticed, we changed our website to a blog as it’s easier to keep it up to date. Since we setup the shiny new blog, I felt it’s a good idea to keep our fans a bit more informed on the process instead of just posting static releases all the time. So what have we been up to other than getting totally intoxicated over the holidays? We’ve been preparing a few upcoming releases such as the awesome album by Sven Laux, a little EP by myself 0x7f and another big album by DoubtingThomas. So there will be plenty of new tunes coming out soon. The Australia EP, our latest vinyl by Easy Changes received great feedback and is in the bags of DJs around the world. The release is limited to 300 copies and we don’t know if there will be a repress, so hurry up and get it in your favorite record store such as decks and many more!

We are also working on the third vinyl record with a very special producer, that we won’t name yet. More on that once we sorted out all the details. Other than that we also added a DJ set by my partners Sebastian Koch and Subjunk that you can download via soundcloud. This well selected mix with some unreleased material should help you through the leetless time until we release the next EP ;)

Last but not least, we would like to thank all our dear friends and fans for all the support over the last year! We’re proud that you’ve all been showing your appreciation towards our work so much. Since we never bothered to generate money with the label and rather just do what we love, it’s great to see it’s well received!

Today we unleash upon the masses our second vinyl record ‚Australia EP‘ by our dear friends Easy Changes! The duo is known for their creative minimalistic style with lots of field recordings mashed up into funky rhythms. Yet again they continue to provide their unique symbiosis of rhythmical patterns with the world of mysterious sounds and dark moods. The core of their music has continued progression, like a story being told with multiple scenarios between the past, present and future life.

Traveling and touring has influenced the artists and gave them lots of inspiration, which keeps coming back in the beautiful form of music. The Australia EP has three original tracks on vinyl and one digital bonus track. A1 is a mighty club track that builds up with lots of different and nicely arranged elements wrapped into a cloud of reverbs and delays on top of rhythmic percussions and massive subs.

A great combination that totally fits our ideals of handmade minimal techno – sometimes raw, abstract, funky or dynamic and without factory presets. Once again music for the soul and the dancefloor alike. This is truely an outstanding piece of work and we are happy to share it with you now after months of hiding it on our harddisks.

He cleverly adds vocal cuts and breaks just where they belong to give the tracks their final touch. Minimal and Tech-house mashed up with an experimental edge. Kai is no stranger in the scene and has previously released on labels such as Alphahouse, Revolver and Süd Electronic. To round it all up, Pheek did a great job as usually with the mastering.

Lovely melodies surrounded by a variety of percussions, effects and four to the floor beats, although this isn’t aimed for the dancefloor at all. Intelligent arrangements, minimalistic complexity and ambience forms into a timeless piece of art. We serve it all. Without doubt, all of these artists have a continued drive to provide the audience with interesting soundscapes and delicate food for your ears. Each track has its own story and since music says more than a thousand words, we let the music speak for itself and hope that you all enjoy it as much as we do. They were also featured on ‘Multi Vitamins’ this year and on the Japanese label ‘Kodaira tracks’. Their music is really put together with lots of thought. Cool beats with funky spliced vocals and melodic bleeps or textures. Straight to the point minimal techno. The EP also includes a great remix of the track ‘Labo’ by Sebastian Koch!

Coming to ‘Worship The Machines’, which is the title track of this album. A long journey into the world of bits and bytes. Funky vocal cuts meet field recordings with a taste of clicks and various effects. A perfekt mix to get your ass shaking! The track ‘So What’ is very deep and has a dubby touch. Monotonic melody meets reverb.

It took over 1 year to finally put it out because of various changes in the remixes, but now you can get this lovely EP in your favorite download stores! The original is a timeless track full of melodic soundscapes, just like you know Mr. Remute – straight club tracks.

That’s the reason why he felt like he was born for music! Rapidly he got in touch with more ‘minimal’ sounds and started djing. The big shift occurred during the summer of 2005: Right after taking his High-school diploma he moved to Berlin. It took some months to get into the scene, but by the end of 2005 he joined the ‘Klangsucht’ crew, playing at numerous underground parties, open-airs, afterhours and so on…’

Today, his arsenal ranges from Detroit techno over trancey Cologne’ism to minimal house and dub. As long as it’s quality, it’s playable. From 1998-2000 he was a regular name in the Roskilde festival lineup. Playing for thousands and thousands of ravers at one of europe’s largest music festivals.

Stefan Klaas aka 0x7f was born in 1983. As true kid of the 80s, growing up with the commodore c64, he was always fascinated by the wonderful blips and bleeps coming out of those retro computers and soon moved into production of his own chiptunes at the age of 16. Soon he started to put some more effort behind production and bought a mc-303 in 1999. He began to visit the club scene in Munich and soon started to enjoy the old Ultraschall club. According to him, this was one of his biggest influences. In those years he mostly worked on electro and techno tunes, but the 8bit scene also kept his interest. He started to work more on his own tracks and released them on 8bit netlabels such as Micromusic.

Hailing from the eastside of Berlin, Azek devoted his life to music at the tender age of 16. Originally djing house and techno in bars around, the fascination for production later lured him deeper into the world of electronic music and eventually saw him djing in Tresor. In 2002 he moved to London and kept developing sounds into a more calm-sounding techno direction. Now Azek is mainly known for his floaty ~ melting dub-tech-house vibe somewhere in between dancefloor and bar. Coming from his passion for music and music-technology he’d been recoding live gigs, samples, remixing and mastering for various local projects around east London in the last couple of years.

‘Benjamin Fehr, Berlin based producer, DJ and head honcho of Catenaccio records is permanently working on the development of “Groove Noir’. Artists like Ricardo Villalobos, Roman Fluegel, Falko Brocksieper, Jay Haze, Butane, Dana Ruh, or labelhead Benjamin Fehr I ffwd are working perfectly together towards the definition of ‘Groove Noir’, which is the final destination of the label. Basses well under the radar, buzzing sounds, subtle darkness and stumbeling grooves grow together to the special irritating and hypnotizing idea of Catenaccio, that is also brought to you through the special weird artwork of the covers. You will find Catenaccio tracks in charts and cases of Magda,

Den was born and brought up in Tokyo, but he was living in several cities around the globe such as St. Pauli or London and is currently living in Berlin. He started his music career as a freelance cm/cf music creator. He has done loads of jingles, aswell as soundtracks, games and ringtones. Den started djing around 1998 and has played alongside with Andy Vaz, DB, Fumiya Tanaka, and many other mostly minimal artists in London (Mark Henning, Ekkkohaus, Sebastian Russell, Italoboyz etc.). His releases are now on sale or coming up on labels like ‘Them’, ‘Multi Vitamins’, ‘Clever Music’, ‘Op.disc’ etc. To produce his music, he is mainly working with cubase, max/msp, and ableton on win/mac platforms.

The russian duo Denis Cast and Kilrill Sil better known as ‘Easy Changes’ are currently living in Berlin. They made a lot of noise with their two releases on Foundsound records. They continue to develop their unique symbiosis of rhythmical patterns with the world of mysterious sounds and sub minded mood currents. Easy Changes create unique suspense that catches the ears of techno fans all over the world. As a result the core of their music has continued progression, like a story with multi scenarios between the current and future life. Traveling during touring has influenced the artists and gave them lots of inspiration that keeps coming out in a beautiful forms of music.

Ditch, aka Shinichiro Kono, is a Japanese producer who currently resides in Sendai, Japan. He’s been djing minimal house/techno at various clubs since 2001, but it wasn’t until 2005 that he began producing his own tracks that are aimed not only for the dancefloor but also for alternative listening environments. One of his great musical abilities is that he can go in several musical directions with retaining his strong character and this is a remarkable achievement for someone who has been making music for such a short time. This point has helped him to earn the respect of numerous labels over the world, such as ‘Minibar’, ‘Safari Electronique’, ‘Microcosm’, ‘Goosehound’, ‘Kalimari’, ‘Op.disc’ and of course ’31337′.

Fierce competition breeds quality. The top DJs of Copenhagen, Denmark are renowned for their technical skills and immaculate sets. A high standard set by years and years of competitiveness in a city, that only in recent years has bloomed in number of venues, parties and promoters. One of the finest members of this scene is Anders Brøndum - DJ Lab. With his fine-tuned ears for beats and breakdowns and highly accomplished abilities behind two decks, he’s been a match for pretty much every DJ he’s played with. Copenhagen partygoers hail memorable nights with Lab and names like Laurent Garnier, Michael Mayer, Surgeon, Jay Denham, DJ Rush, Blake Baxter, Abe Duque, Daniel Bell, Carl Craig etc.

French born, London based A. Riviere aka DoubtingThomas first started his musical journey in 1998 after a childhood obsession with drums and their rythmatic allure. Producing down tempo and electronic sounds led to a rapid progression into live recordings and soundscaping which lured him away from France to London in 2000. Here he studied sound engineering at the acclaimed SAE continuing his ever growing passion for freedom of expression. London and its underground electronic music scene rapidly became Riviere’s main focus and he began composing for independent films and collaborating on projects with London’s up and coming underground artists whilst defining his concept as

‘Dualism°°’ are Kwamina and Gab from Zurich. Thanks to their graphic design/art ballet and theater background the aesthetics plays an essential part in their life. On a daily base they have to look at the things from every angle as they are used to expose and deal with visual forms & shapes & colours as well as movements & motions. At the moment however, all is about music. With their delicate flair for future sound-trends, the innovative and versatile swiss-duo developes and creates since 2005 their very own definition of the ‘so-called‘ minimal techno. Their debut release on Pheek’s label Archipel ‘Dualism°° – Speech Defect EP., 2006’ showed their skills in impressive way.

Haruyuki Yokoyama (producer / Architect) from Kanagawa, Japan was originally inspired by electronic music from the mid 90’s. His first musical experiences came from starting an electronic band with some talented friends, and in 1998, his solo electronic music productions began.

After moving to Los Angeles in 1999, he studied Architecture, but his passion for electronic music continued. In 2003, he returned to his native homeland of Japan to live in Tokyo, where he continues to create his own take on minimal techno.

In early 2007 Giuseppe Marchegiano began to produce under the pseudonym of Hubble, shortly after the release of his first vinyl on Moulton label, he began to gather support from the underground and techno scene in Berlin and on international level. His productions and tracks are considered precious rarities as they are only printed on limited edition series, in fact he likes to consider his works as tools to be played by close friends not necessairly intended to be officially released. Hubble’s ‘long hypnotic journeys’ as they call them are available only to a lucky few. Hubble, with his floating Techno sound and Pyschedelic atmospheres has fronted a number of parties in Berlin.

Japanese artist Kai (aka Kaitaro Nakajima) was born in 1977 and is currently based in Tokyo. He started djing with the age of 17.

He took his first step by spinning Hip Hop records, but later got into the world of minimal techno and house music at around 2003. Since 2004 he is actively producing his own minimal tracks, which are put together with lots of interesting samples and subtle cuts.

Katsuya Urushizaki started music career by organizing and promoting an event ‘Ryugi’ in Fukui, Japan. He was also performing as an video visual and DJ at the event. He studied sound engineering and music programming in 2001. His production work includes sound track, sound effects and sound design for film and animation projects. Katzo worked on many collaborative projects with artists, Architects, film makers and Photographers. Liiebermann is the production unit of K. Hamawaki (previously released on Fumiya Tanaka’s Torema records label) and Ko-ta from Stratosphere. Ko-ta is influenced by old techno pop music like Ymo, Kraftwerk and minimal techno like Jeff Mills and Basic Channel. He started making his own music in 1991 and djing in 1993 in Kushiro, Hokkaido. Ko-ta established the minimal techno label Stratosphere in 1997. Stratosphere released 7 EPs especially for DJs. He now gets DJ offers from all over Japan. K. Hamawaki fell into minimal music such as Jeff Mills and Basic Channel. He started as a DJ / producer when he was 15 years old in Hiroshima. K. Hamawaki contacted Ko-ta in 2001.

Nicolás Alejandro Ballesteros was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1985. He began as a DJ but it didn’t take long for him to start making his own music. He has created different projects from techno to extremely experimental ambient sounds and designed several aliases: Louer, Louerlow and his band Burmas Carnival. Under the name of Louer, he produces experimental electronic and dance music. During 2010 he got signed on Nervmusic Records and Archipel and he also became the curator of RTS.fm in Buenos Aires. He visited Easy Changes’ esctudio near Moscow, played in Arma 17 whit them, DeepChord, Jens Zimmermann and Audio Werner during the Save Festival.

Born and raised in Luxembourg, Marc got introduced to music at the age of 8 by taking trumpet lessons in a local music school. What followed was a classical music education and later on higher studies in Jazz. This environment made him become increasingly attracted by sounds of electronic nature and he started a listening journey through different types of electronic music which brought him to the dancefloor side of the spectrum. His urge towards exploration of the musical possibilities within this sub-genre led him to producing and soon he fell in love with the endless variations and discoveries this workflow provided. Martin Briano, also Marteaux, is from Buenos Aires, Argentina. His life always been dedicated to music learning. In the beginning of 2011 he moved to Sao Paulo, where he started to work for MTV Brasil and he still lives there by now. His maximum influences are from Jan Jelinek, Matthew Dear (more Audion or False), Easy Changes, Ricardo Villalobos, to also hiphop artists like Madlib, Flying Lotus, Vlooper, Ras-G and lots more. Jazz music has also been a constant passion. He get the chance to play with argentinian artists like Martín Avaro, Louer, Nicolas Romero, Leonel Castillo, QiK and also international artists like Easy Changes, Ben Klock, Oliver Huntemann, Dandy Jack, Minilogue, Jens Zimmerman, Andrey Zots and more. He released in labels like MultiVitamins, Klangscheiben, Doma Musique and Miniatura Rec.

In the last years, he focused on the electronic dance music project ‘Monoblock’ releasing EPs, on labels such as Archipel, Cynosure, AirDrop. Some of them have been played by well known DJs such as Richie Hawtin, Ricardo Villalobos or Mathias Kaden.

Originally a Pittsburgh DJ, Kate held down residencies at Laga, Zythos, and was Co-founder of Savitri Sundays. She received a degree in anthropology (and a minor in music) at university of pittsburgh – where she also participated in a gamelan ensemble. Her interests in sound began at a young age – first playing violin, then piano, then guitar, now sample-based electronics (often incorporating her own singing voice among other found sounds). Her regular bookings playing deep, minimal house and techno encouraged her move to Philadelphia in summer 2001. After relocating, she has taken responsibilities as Co-organizer of both the Foundsound record label and the Pitchspork monthly.

Born Belgian in 1978, most likely feeling like a citizen of the world, Jaycee got involved with music in the early 90′s, first buying records like every kids of that age but not just anykind of music…, it was Belgian first mainstream electronic music…New beat! A few more years and records away, got his first set of decks and joined his friends of the Dhc, first underground techno movement in his very own city of Belgium, Liege. They threw gigs in wharehouses and well know Belgian club ‘La Chapelle’. That was the best way for him to learn how to work the decks and later the crowd. That’s how he shared decks with respected talents from all over Europe like Ben Sims, Marco Bailey to name a few.

Omar Salgado is a DJ and producer born in Buenos Aires in 1980. He took his first steps into the field of electronic music at the age of 18. His first contacts were made while he was living in the province of Santa Cruz in the city of Rio Gallegos, studying digital technology and midi. 2002 in his residence in the capital of Buenos Aires, he started studying music composition with electronics, motivated by the idea to produce his own music. In 2003 he decided to start playing live his favorite styles ambient, minimal techno and microhouse. His influence came from labels like Alphahouse, Einmaleins, (Un-)Foundsound, Rrygular, Mobilee, Microcosm, Telegraph, Audio808 and Igloo.

Franco Belavita aka Pachyderme was born in the city of Córdoba, Argentina in 1990. He’s a lover of the arts in general. His musical career began at the age of 14 playing the bass in different jam sessions, strongly influenced by genres such as, Free Jazz, Funk and Soul. In 2006 he started to devote his time to creatively experimenting in the field of electronic music with his friends (Ehn, Nicht, Ywi, Marbux). Since forming the group called ‘Décollage’ they have been working on new releases and creating a netlabel with an emphasis on minimalist art and underground experimental electronic music. After meeting Easy Changes in Córdoba, he began to produce electronic music.

First taking interest as a sound enthusiast, Montreal‘s Jean-Patrice Remillard began exploring electronic music in earnest by the early 1990s, teaching himself how to produce and manipulate sounds with software and hardware. Noticed by Hautec Recordings in 1999, the local label released the 12” ERS 1-2-3, Pheek‘s minimal techno collaboration with Mateo Murphy. By 2002 Pheek had produced two critically acclaimed full-length albums and gained a prestigious reputation for his memorable live sets at Epsilonlab events. With his music now turning heads overseas Pheek departed on his first European tour, visiting and performing in over fifteen countries.

Who is Denis ‘Remute’ Karimani? The hamburg-city boy Denis Karimani, born in 1983, started making electronic music at the age of 13 years and got addicted to it without fail. After lonely and quiet years of experimenting and self-discovery he released his first 12″ called ‘Hypnoconsole’ on Zombie Nation’s label Dekathlon records and got remixed by Munich-techno-hero Richard Bartz. The first livegigs followed directly and led him into smoky rave-basements, uproarious clubs, sunny open-airs, as well as shaky party-boats… Due to excessive and unresting music-making denis released lots of 12″s and made several remixes in the following years. He released records on fine labels like Traum, Trapez, Mbf,

For Sebastian Koch it all started in 1996, where he began to spin Hip Hop records. In 1998 he visited the Tresor club for the first time and was so fascinated by the atmosphere, that his style changed completely. One year later he was playing for the first time at the legendary ‘Headquarter-New-Faces’ nights at the Tresor club. In the year 2005 Sebastian adopted the Berlin studio of the web radio ‘Spiel-Trieb’, which has its headquarter in Munich and works together with the well known club ‘Harry Klein’. In 2007, together with 2 colleagues (0x7f & Subjunk), he founded the label ’31337records’. On this label he also released his first EP ‘Friendship’ along with Den.

Jacobo Hernandez aka ‘SeQ’, was born in a small town called Lugo, Spain in 1986. He is a DJ since 2000. For his 22 years, his musical history is quite complex. His main influences are techno, house, dub, trip hop, rock and roll, funk and more. After going through a series of personal sensations in the underground music scene, he started to adapt different styles to his mixes aswell as his own music. Since he was a little boy, he knew different genres like techno, house, electro, etc. and slowly began to test his knowledge on the plates, marking sessions of minimal-tech with style and professionalism. He is new to the scene but has already performed at several venues in his local area with DJ sets and live acts.

Kirill Silantyev was born in Moscow in 1981. He started to spin records at the age of 16. As a DJ he mostly played on open-airs and parties taking place in different exotic places such as basements, deserted building sites and thickets. Sil was resident at the well-known Moscow clubs ‘Luch’ and ‘Territoria’. He was influenced mostly by the night ethers of the 106,8 radio station. In 2003 Sil began his promoting activity and organized the ‘Nervmusic’ creative community. With their techno-parties they travel through different clubs in Moscow. Today he is producing his own tracks and working as an organizer. Sil also collaborates with Denis ‘Guttersnipe’ Kaznacheev in the well known project ‘Easy Changes’.

is Philadelphia’s Sean O’Neal, co-founder of the Tuning Spork and Fuzzy Box record labels. O’Neal’s production skills are garnering respect among internationally renowned djs and labels alike, as reflected by his releases and remixes on Musik Krause, Tuning Spork, Foundsound, Mo’s Ferry, Microcosm, Nummer and many others. A stalwart of Philadephia’s deep house, minimal techno and experimental communities, O’Neal also co-organized various events, hosting performances by Magda, Matthew Dear, Sammy Dee, Geoff White, Jeff Milligan, Dan Bell, Dinky, and many others. His current occupations focus on running Foundsound and Unfoundsound records. He comes from a musical family. 

Subjunk was born in Munich and grew up in the countryside outside of the city. His passion for music started at a very early age with an obsessive need to collect all kinds of music possible. In his youth he was a member of a band and during that time his fascination for rhythms and beats resulted in countless hours of trying to teach himself the very basics of playing the drums. After the band broke up several years later, the pure consumption of music did not satisfy him enough. This lead him to explore new sound worlds and technics that he found in electronic music. One of his biggest influences and inspirations at this time was the old ‘Ultraschall’ club in Munich.

Born in Montreal but currently calling Quebec city his home, Olivier Blouin alias ‘Sul.a’ has been working on his own brand of glitch-minded soundscapes since 2005. He issued three net releases on Pheek’s label, Archipel. ‘Dont’ Forget to Turn Off the Light’ appeared in late 2005, quickly followed by ‘The Spark is Lost’ in 2006. In 2007, a small EP entitled ‘Sorry for Everything’ for the Quebec based net label Sauvegard was released, aswell as remix work for Pheek’s track ‘En Légère Suspension’ taken from his latest album. Sul.a’s latest album for Archipel, ‘Barberie Binaire’, was released in 2010. We are very happy to soon present his very first remix for our label on one of our upcoming releases.

Sven Laux was born in Neubrandenburg, Germany. His calling began in 1998 by creating music with simple computer programs and his first keyboard. Soon after he developed a passion for sampling and looping tracks, and he began to create his own special sound – often minimalistic deep techno and ambient using field recordings, clicks, pops and glitches. He has released and remixed on labels like Microcosm, 31337, spontanMusik, Multi Vitamins, Archipel, Unfoundsound, Tropic, Unoiki and others. In 2008 he started another project called Offtopic – through which he presents an atmospheric non-dancefloor sound merely through improvisation.

Topper grew up in Turin, Italy surrounded by substances and tunes typical of a hippie-kind of environment. Jefferson Airplane, Grateful Dead, Pink Floyd were his milk. His dad, the ‘hippie’, had a huge influence on him, and introduced his curious kid into the magic of music and psychedelic culture. That’s the reason why he felt like he was born for music… Then, by the end of the millennium, it seemed to him that this ‘childhood’ music was missing the point. He turned around the corner and found electronic music. Cheesy trance and muddy house at the beginning and later on, in 2001, he started to listen to electro-techno, attending never ending after-hours…

The Undefault is a duo, consisting of two man, Oleg and Roman. Credo of the Undefault – is to show the dark side of minimal techno to people, with usage of deep vibrations and cold sound. Those two musicians played DJ sets separately before, but had decided to unite for creating of single qualitative music product. Music career of the Undefault  got started in 2007. They mix difficult abstract constructions with minor moods in their live performances. Every track has a philosophy of the struggle between good and evil. Every loop is a mysterious story with convoluted plot. Welcome to the world of the new strange feelings!
